In my Angelina Jolie example, I illustrated Eisenstein's concept of two pictures that produce a new idea (though in this case, it's not two pictures but a picture and text). For example, in my version the picture of a (1) woman (Jolie) and the caption about a (2) Mexican restaurant produces a third idea from the two ideas: (3) a Mexcian woman.
